The ECHO Operational system is a test system which serves the needs of the ECHO Data, Client, and Service partners. The Data Holdings within this system include those which ECHO's Data Partners have made available for their own testing purposes
The ECHO Partner Test system is supported by the ECHO Operations Team, in conjunction with the ECHO Database, Development, and System Administration teams. Automatic monitoring systems are used to continually monitor the Partner Test system. Any system failures will result in an immediate notification to the ECHO Team. Because this system is not a 'production' system, failures will be attended to during normal working hours. Questions regarding the Operational system should be sent to echo@echo.nasa.gov and a member of the ECHO Operational team will assist in your needs.
The ECHO Partner Test system ingests submitted metadata files to meet the needs of Data Partner testing activities. The ECHO Operations team is continually working with Data Partners to test and improve the metadata generation and ingest processes. All questions specifically regarding ingest should be directed to the ECHO Operations Team (echo-ingest@echo.nasa.gov).
The ECHO Partner Test system contains data holdings which are made available through the efforts of both Data Partners and the ECHO Team. Access restrictions for data are managed solely by the corresponding data partners. These rules are subject to change according to the policies of the owning Data Partner.
Data discovery is achieved completely within the ECHO system and, subsequently, performance is linked to the system load at any given time. The Partner Test system is not a performance system and therefore response times are not indicative of Operational response times. Due to the nature of the testing environment, data accessibility is subject to change based upon Data Partner testing. All questions regarding data discovery should be directed to the ECHO Operations team (echo@echo.nasa.gov) for support.
The ECHO Partner Test system contains data which has been ingested to facilitate testing by ECHO Data and Client Partners. Each Data Provider configures their data and order policies within ECHO to facilitate their own testing needs. All orders placed in the Partner Test mode should be coordinated with the associated Data Partner who will be fulfilling the order. Due to the nature of this test system, orders may or may not be fulfilled, based upon the needs of the requester. All questions regarding ordering should be directed to the ECHO Operations team (echo@echo.nasa.gov) for support.
